Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that promotes deep relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional balance by supporting the body’s natural ability to restore harmony. It is commonly used in wellness centers and integrative healthcare settings, including hospitals and hospice care, as a complementary therapy for comfort and relaxation. While research is still emerging, studies and clinical observations suggest Reiki may help reduce stress, anxiety, and pain perception, and it is generally considered safe when used alongside conventional medical care.

Reiki can be supportive for people of all ages and life stages, including children, adults, older adults, pregnant individuals, and those currently receiving medical or therapeutic care. It is often used as a gentle complementary practice for those experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, fatigue, or discomfort, as well as for individuals seeking greater relaxation and overall well-being during times of healing or transition.

In real-world wellness and clinical settings, Reiki is commonly offered as a calming support in hospitals, palliative care, and integrative health programs—particularly to help promote relaxation, ease tension, and support emotional comfort alongside standard care. It is non-invasive and generally considered safe when used as a complementary practice, but it is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace medical or mental health care.

During a Reiki session, you can expect a calm, supportive, and relaxing space designed to help you unwind and reconnect with yourself. Sessions are gentle and non-invasive, typically involving light or no touch, and are focused on encouraging deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and energetic balance. Many people report feelings of peace, warmth, emotional release, or a deep sense of rest.

Each session is unique and guided by what you need in the moment. As part of my practice, I may also receive intuitive impressions during the session, which can come through as sensations, emotions, or imagery. I share these impressions when they feel supportive and appropriate, always as gentle guidance rather than diagnosis, and in service of your own inner awareness and personal reflection.

Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. You are always encouraged to continue working with your licensed healthcare providers for any medical or mental health needs.
