Balancing For the tides within

About me:

My own healing journey began in childhood, long before I understood the spiritual gifts I carried. As a teenager and young adult, I became more aware that my body and thoughts were pointing me towards a higher path, and that I was uniquely highly aware of the emotions, sensations, and energetic frequencies of those around me. I understood as well, as I grew, the vital need to set boundaries with others, especially as a woman and as an empath. As a single mother, life presented lessons that taught me the importance of integrity, gratitude, and the Medicine (or gifts) that comes from honoring self-worth and mothering our own wellbeing. From experiences such as loss, grieving, giving birth, and the rebirth and transformation of life I had once thought I was destined to live. 

I transformed my everyday life from living where I was tolerated to bravely entering spaces where my presence celebrated. I was guided during seemingly impossible obstacles towards a deeper, more authentic version of myself and the life I realized I was able to create. I learned to view each obstacle not as a burden, but as a learning opportunity gifted to me by Creator. These moments and experiences became "seed gifts" which I nourished within; and in time the seeds bloomed into trees of change – ones whose foundations require gentleness, commitment, bravery, and willingness to grow and expand from within.

As I continued on my self discovery journey, it came to my attention that many women today feel burnt out and disconnected from their sense of self. Without question, we are conditioned to expect burdens, be it by family, social, emotional, or professional expectations. I have seen both strangers and friends come to tears because they felt so unheard, their needs irrelevant. I thought to myself; If striving to meet others’ definitions of success and purpose means we must silence our emotions and suppress our fundamental needs, then humanity has done a great injustice on the woman's heart. 

As a certified Reiki practitioner, writer, poet, and the founder of PalmaLuna Reiki, LLC, my goal is to create client-focused experience to help women remove the blockages and limitations that inhibit them from living conscious, empowered lives. I strive to shine light on areas that may need attention so that I can support your needs and offer insight into what may help guide expansion, encourage growth, and inspire you to get to know new areas that support your goals!
